Beyond repair? Get a Premium Lithium voucher for a new one

If we’re unable to repair your product, we’ll give you a Premium Lithium voucher to get a new one.


Ask for a new one after your second repair

If we can’t repair your product, or it develops an electrical or mechanical fault after we repair it twice, you can ask for a Premium Lithium voucher so you can get a replacement product.

Why should I buy a PremiumCare Plan when I have a manufacturer's warranty?

As the UK’s leading premium battery supplier, PremiumCare by Premium Lithium is the UK’s only dedicated battery support plan. PremiumCare covers you in the case of unexpected mechanical or electrical breakdown that affects the operation of the product. It also includes enhanced features listed below which will provide you additional peace of mind and suit your needs better.


PremiumCare comes with a 7-day fix promise. If it cannot be repaired after 7 calendar days, you may request a replacement Product. If we cannot repair your Product you will be given a Premium Lithium voucher to obtain a replacement Product through us. Terms and Conditions apply.


Most manufacturer guarantees only cover breakdown. NOT a 7-day fix promise like ours. Manufacturers also expect customers to return products at their own cost. We do not do this. That’s what makes customers love our products, because they have the reassurance of knowing Premium Lithium has confidence in the longevity of it’s market leading products.


If we can’t repair your product, or if it develops an electrical or mechanical fault after we repair it twice, you can ask for a 

Premium Lithium voucher so you can get a replacement product.


In addition to this, you won’t face any charges for parts, labour or call out(s). We’ll pay for it all. To save you time, we will always strive to find a solution over the phone ASAP. If we are unable to reduce our carbon footprint by dealing with the matter over the phone, we’ll cover the cost of paying for a courier to come to collect your battery and bring it to our support centre.

How long do the PremiumCare Plans last for?

With the reasonable typical lifespan of one of our batteries being 37 years*, you’ll have the confidence of knowing your Product is in safe hands long term. Premium Lithium are the UK’s only Grade A+ battery suppliers that have the confidence to provide 5, 10, 15 and 20 years of complete extended warranty plan for lithium batteries. For those looking for longer, it is possible to renew plans up to 37 years. (*this is based on a reasonable expected lifespan of 4,500 cycles with an average use of 120 cycles per year.)

Aren't items like batteries already covered under my home insurance?

This question depends entirely on the terms of your home insurance policy though in general most domestic insurance policies do not cover them. PremiumCare is not an insurance policy and is an extended warranty plan only. We do NOT cover for accidental damage, cosmetic damage, loss or theft. In general, home insurance will cover theft and accidental damage but not mechanical breakdown.


There is usually an excess charge on a home insurance to any claims made. We do NOT charge any excess on any of the benefits of our plans and EVERYTHING is covered by us.

Will PremiumCare protect me against accidental damage?

No, PremiumCare is not an insurance policy and is an extended warranty plan only, so does not cover accidental or cosmetic damage.

What support does PremiumCare provide for my product?

Breakdown support when you need it, whether it’s a mechanical fault or electrical breakdown, if your product breaks, we’ll fix it.


In addition, your PremiumCare includes:

• Beyond repair? If we’re unable to repair your product, we’ll give you a Premium Lithium voucher to get a new one.

• Ask for a new one, after your second repair – if we can’t repair your product or it develops a mechanical or electrical fault after we repair it twice, you can ask for a Premium Lithium voucher so you can get a replacement product.

• Don’t pay a penny more for parts, labour and call outs. We’ll even recycle your faulty product free of charge.

How long after buying a product do I have to take out a PremiumCare plan?

You can buy a PremiumCare plan in the period of up to 30 days after your original Premium Lithium purchase, provided it is in fully functioning condition.


After 30 days, PremiumCare can be purchased through our experts by calling 01636 642 885 provided the products are in fully functioning condition. PremiumCare ‘Term’ plans purchased after 30 days may vary in length.

How do I buy a PremiumCare Plan?
